The subject of the research is the development of bank lending on the security of the intellectual property objects as one of the prospective direction of the high technology economy sector’s formation. During the preparation of the paper the analysis methods were resorted to. National economists’ writings in the area of the research of bank lending on the security of the intellectual property objects as well as statistical resources were utilized as the methodological background. As a result of the analysis the authors proposed the ways encouraging the use of new kinds of collateral in bank lending.
